What is IELTS?
The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) assesses English-language proficiency for people who need to study, work or live in an English-speaking environment. The test measures four skills: Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking.
Before choosing a test, check the requirements of the university, employer, professional body or immigration authority you are applying to. Requirements can vary by destination and purpose.
Important: Select the IELTS test type that matches the receiving organisation's requirements. Confirm current test availability, accepted formats, fees and score requirements through official IELTS/IDP channels.
